What: Dwell with Dignity’s Art and Color Party

Where: The creative 4,500-square foot showroom at Dallas Design District’s Aiden Gray.

PC Moment: More than 200 of the “Who’s Who” in the local interior design and art worlds assembled at the kickoff party for this highly anticipated Thrift Studio fundraiser. The Art + Color Party marks the start of this year’s fundraising festivities for Dallas nonprofit Dwell with Dignity, which helps families escape poverty and homelessness by providing home furnishings to those who obtain permanent housing.

The Aiden Gray showroom filled with home accessories, lighting and furniture to admire and inspire Art + Color attendees sipping wine and enjoying bacon lollipops, beef crostinis and other bites by Doug Boster Catering. It set the perfect backdrop to announce this year’s Thrift Studio’s honorary chair, art chair — and participating designers, retail partners and sponsors.

As both a kickoff and an artist appreciation party, the 36 participating artists, curated by art chair Mione Plant, and their displayed original art pieces were the stars of the evening.

Thrift Studio is a luxury home furnishings pop-up offering dramatic discounts on luxury home decor, furnishings and original art. All proceeds from the pop-up benefit Dwell with Dignity. It will be held at Dallas Design Center from April 5 to May 4.
