A Fashion Legend is Headed to Dallas
This Dinner Party Looks Like a Certain Sellout
By Jane Rozelle //
Designer Donna Karan is busy: She founded fashion labels Donna Karan New York and DKNY decades ago; launched Urban Zen, a lifestyle collection; and, most recently, received the CFDA Founder’s Award.
Next on the horizon is a trip to Dallas, on Thursday, November 10, as guest of honor for ReuNight, the quick-to-sell-out annual dinner party benefitting The Family Place. The event’s fashion bent stems from its retail-savvy chairs, Shelle and Michael Sills and Brian Bolke and Faisal Halum. (Shelle is director of retail for Headington Companies; Bolke, bien sûr, proprietor of Forty Five Ten.)
Plan accordingly: Cocktail hour is at the newly minted Forty Five Ten downtown, with al fresco dinner and dancing a hop across Main Street on The Joule’s Terrace.
