BY // 10.18.18

What: Seventh Annual Habitat for Horses fundraiser

Where: 4 Star Concert Hall and SideBar in Brenham

PC Moment: Guests and barnyard friends having one “hay” of a day trotted into the 4 Star Concert Hall and SideBar to celebrate the seventh annual Habitat for Horses fundraiser, benefiting the nonprofit which is dedicated to equine rescue and rehabilitation. The night was kicked into high gear with hosts Julia Hatfield, vice president of Habitat for Horses, Ginger Barber of Barber Interior Design, and 2018 Academy of Country Music Song of the Year winning star Jack Ingram.

As the party rocked on, guests sipped on delightful cocktails and devoured light bites, from BBQ sliders to homemade pies from Royer’s Restaurant. The night couldn’t end without the excitement of a live auction, featuring not one but two getaway trips to Cabo San Lucas and The Napping House in Nantucket. Ingram ended the festivities on a high note by getting his Texan fans dancing and singing along to his famous country hits.

Capping off the evening, it was announced that the fundraiser successfully raised more than $50,000 for Habitat for Horses.

Who: Audrey Wylie, Sammi Skotak, John Elford, Chris Nash, Ryan and Jenny Reitmeyer, Jennifer and Greg Thompson, Leanne Johanson, Scott Bobek, Gary Hind, Mary Ann Shulte, Chris and Sammi Skotak and Jason and Stephanie Penell.
