By Caroline Hogan //
Some nights just have more heart. The Côtes du Coeur International Fine Wine Auction and Celebrity Chef Dinner is exactly what it sounds like — an evening of sipping fine wines and eating topnotch food from some of Dallas top chefs. And it all benefits the American Heart Association.
This annual black-tie gala is sponsored by the Dallas chapter of the American Heart Association and is the grand finale in a series of fundraising events. In fact, it is the No. 1 fundraising gala for the Heart Association in the entire country. Proceeds from the night go directly to the AHA for cardiovascular research and heart health educational programs that take place in Dallas and throughout America.
Over its spectacular 26-year run, the gala has raised more than $34 million and brought 23,000 attendees together to celebrate a cause that is near and dear to the hearts of so many.
This year’s gala has renowned Dallas chef Richard Chamberlain hosting a team of 16 top chefs that will put together a tasting menu that pairs with wines from more than 40 elite wineries. The grand finale is a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind packages and prizes. There will also be a silent auction held during the gala with more than 1,200 different bottles of wine available.
