What: Potts Law Firm party celebrating Houston Methodist doctors
Where: B&B Butchers & Restaurant
PC Moment: There were champagne toasts all around as the Potts Family Foundation honored doctors returning from a special medical mission to Haiti, led by Dr. Tristi Muir.
As one of the lead attorneys in the transvaginal mesh litigation, Potts says that he felt a personal connection to the cause and gave back through his foundation by sending four Houston Methodist urogynecologists to Pignon, Haiti, to provide free surgeries to women in desperate need. There are few urogynecologists in the United States and none in Haiti.
Friends, family and influencers were all ears as Muir and Potts addressed the gathering on the trip that provided aid to Haitian women and was something of an educational opportunity for doctors.
