A Beloved Local Bar Hosts Benefit to Address a Texas Problem

Get your saddle ready for Habitat for Horses‘ fifth annual The Horse at Home event benefitting neglected, abused and homeless equine. Hosted by Ginger Barber, this year’s event takes place at Goode’s Armadillo Palace and features an auction, live music, a dinner buffet, an open bar, hand-rolled cigars, and more.
Leading the auction is renowned auctioneer Andrew Bost, who auctions off items including exclusive getaways to Harbour Island, The Bahamas, The Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, and a Nantucket Escape.
Also on the docket is a private concert from Texas singer and songwriter Shake Russell and The Band.
Habitat for Horses launched in 1998 as an equine protection agency providing prevention, rescue and rehabilitation, adoption services, and living arrangements for abused and neglected horses and donkeys.
