What: “Crawfish for a Cause” benefiting the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation‘s Young Professionals Group (YPG)
Where: Holman Draft Hall patio
PC Moment: There is no record of how many pounds of crawfish were consumed by the 100 Young Professionals Groups members and guests nor any tabulation of the Pura Vida Tequila margaritas and 8th Wonder Brewery beers thrown back. But by all accounts the numbers were significant enough to ensure that all bellies were full, thirsts slaked, and a good time was had by all. This was the first “Crawfish for a Cause” event and the YPG’s fifth anniversary.
Joining Pura Vida and 8th Wonder as sponsors were Mix 96.5 and Reliant Energy.
PC Seen: Julie Baker Finck and Ron Finck, Wade Smith, Neeera Patidar, Grace and Tom Gosnell, Alexa Bode, Abby Fletcher, Rebecca Hoffman, Kristen Oesch Stubbs, Aubrey and Peyton Leatherman, Amanda and Stan Abiassi, Austin Buchanan, Heather Duvall, Joy Saxton, Victoria Villarreal and Michael Perkins.
