The last time that Lynn Wyatt, Lady Gaga and Elton John were together was several summers ago when the ladies were house guests at his Woodside estate outside of London. That was until Sunday night’s Super Bowl when the threesome rendezvoused in the New England Patriots owner’s suite.
They were the guests of Bob Kraft, who has enjoyed a long friendship with Elton, as has Lynn. In fact, Elton performed at Kraft’s private Super Bowl party at the Marriott Marquis the night before the game. Sunday afternoon Elton and his husband, David Furnish, lunched with Lynn in her River Oaks home.
Lady Gaga, accompanied by her parents (whom she gave the nod to during her halftime performance), joined the Kraft suite once the second half of the game got underway.
“I was so dejected. I was so upset for him (Kraft). There we were in his suite and his team was losing,” Lynn said. “And then, oh my goodness, it was just fabulous!”
Lynn declared it the best Super Bowl ever and she was still enjoying the Super Bowl glow on Monday morning and reliving a few of the highlights of her fabulous weekend.
She jumped fully into Super Bowl party mode on Saturday, hitting three parties and not getting home until the wee morning hours. Lynn began the night at the Big Game Big Give event where she rubbed shoulders with Olympics mega star Michael Phelps. Then it was on the Vanity Fair party where she congratulated another long-time friend, Jerry Jones, on his vault into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The next stop was Maxim’s party in the Smart Financial Center.
“I went all the way to Sugar Land,” Wyatt said. “To that enormous entertainment center and it was fabulous.” She was on the arm of The Events Co.‘s Richard Flowers, whose firm orchestrated the design for the multi-tiered event.
While game night had a happy ending for Kraft’s guests, the party scene rocked and the weather cooperated, Lynn had one other comment. “It was a little too damp for my hair. It was a bad hair day,” she laughed. “Everything else was perfect!”
