What: Lott Entertainment Spotlight Houston Fundraiser.
Where: Warehouse Live.
Who: Founders Kathryn Lott and Allison Lott; chairs Jonathan Beitler, Stuart Folb and Lee Ellis; board members Janet Phelps, Mark Sullivan and Lindsey Brown; guests Kristy and Chris Bradshaw, Julie Soefer, PaperCity‘s James Brock, Chris Vandewater, and Ceron and Todd Fiscus.
PC Moment: More than 200 people attended the first Lott Entertainment fundraiser supporting the organization’s efforts to infuse Houston’s art scene with unique, diverse, and innovative talent. All eyes and ears were on four Houstonians who are currently pushing the envelope in the city. Attendees enjoyed a 15-minute set from each artist (DJ Sun, Brant Croucher, Jawaad, and Lyric Michelle), introduced by emcee Asli Omar of The Tontons.
Partygoers dined on cuisine from Lee Ellis’ Cherry Pie Hospitality restaurant group (hot chicken wraps from State Fare, Jim Mills’ Southwest Caesar salad with pulled pork, and Mexican chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream from Lee’s Creamery) and swooned over Lee’s donut ice cream sandwiches. The event raised $20,000, which will be a boon for Lott Entertainment’s second season.
