They came. They saw. They shopped. The ladies and gents poured in at the pop-up Luxury Garage Sale boutique in River Oaks Shopping Center for an evening officially launching the month-long designer label extravaganza.
They swooned over the racks of Gucci, Chanel and The Row and obviously coveted the displays of Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Céline. Happy news for Dress for Success, 10 percent of sales on this evening of fashion indulgence went to the non-profit.
Adding energy to what might be called a shopping frenzy were the lively tunes of DJ Ramalama and fueling the fun were taste treats from Chapman & Kirby. Think ceviche over corn crisps, smoked paprika deviled eggs, ahi poke crisp and candied bacon.
The Luxury Garage Sale pop-up is open seven days a week and will remain in Houston through April 15.
Shopping til dropping: Marianna Corcoran, Kimberly Lombardino, Vivian Wise, Sara Deutser, Emily Triesch, Clinton Quisenberry, Babette Dawson, Risse Knight, Christina Forghetta, Eugene Han, Mary Ann Baker, Dario Gonzalez and David Landis, Hanna Stegman and Matt Johns.
