Like proud parents Roberto Contreras and Randall Davis welcomed a well-heeled clutch to the grand opening of their latest partnership, The Marlowe, a luxury high-rise condo development in the heart of downtown Houston sure to attract a swell contingent of urban dwellers.

Guests began their journey through the property in the sleek, uber contemporary lobby where elements of concrete, metal and glass speak of modern luxury, these high design values reflected in the 96 residences that are anchored across 20 floors. The masculine esthetic is the work of Nina Magon, principal designer of Contour Interior Design, whose mission was to create the feel of a metropolitan luxury hotel.

“Houston is home to many residential high rise properties, but the option to own downtown has not been available for 20 years,” said Contreras, CEO of DC Partners.

On this special evening, champagne flowed and wait staff from A Fare Extraordinaire circled through offering canapés while DJ Dave Wrangler of Vinyl Ranch played the beats that added to the hip feel of the high-rise.

If there was any question as to the cultivated bent of the design, floor plans bear such names as Connery, Brando, Gable and Newman.

After perusing Marlowe model units, sophisticated residences geared to downtown living, the urban sojourners made their way to the starlight pool with views to nearby Toyota Center, Discovery Green and GreenStreet. The al fresco open bar was unique to this evening but the fire pit promises glowing evenings whenever the weather presents even a minor chill. And, of course, the impressive downtown skyline view is 365-amenity.

With the ownership aspect of The Marlowe, amenities reflect luxury condo living including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a pied-a-terre guest suite, 24-hour concierge service and valet parking.

In addition to Davis and Contreras, Carnan PropertiesNeil Hamil was on hand to insure that his agents were ready to assist all who wanted to sign up for the luxury condo living in downtown Houston.
