What: Construction Concepts‘ BLDiT’s VIP happy hour highlighting Camp for All

PC Moment: There was plenty of excitement in the air as guests not only toured models in the sleek high-rise but also learned first hand about Camp for All‘s “Over the Edge” challenge, which would, during the weekend, find Construction Concepts’ Shannon Ready literally going over the edge of Hotel Alessandra, rappelling to street level while raising money for and awareness of the barrier-free camp.

“Construction Concepts is committed to building a better future for the communities where we live and work,” firm president Joshua Weisman told the gathering. “We love the mission behind Camp for All and we are so grateful that we could add to the success of the first Over the Edge event in Houston. We are excited to partner with them to support this event and look forward to ‘building more lives and dreams’ with them in the future.”

Weisman along with Camp For All president and CEO Pat Sorrells welcomed the enthused gathering of more than 200. Entertainment included hors d’oeuvres from Hearsay on the Green, tunes by DJ Charlee Brown and photo fun with Mirror Magic’s interactive photo booth.

Donations collected at the event went directly to Camp for All, whose “Over the Edge” rappelling effort has to date raised more than $100,000 for programs at the barrier free camp.
