What: Legacy Community Health‘s 16th annual Mint Julep
Where: Rich’s Houston
PC Moment: With several dozen men letting loose their inner RuPaul, this night of drag queen splendor raised a record $100,000 for Legacy’s HIV/AIDS programs. Applause, applause for chairs Yvonne Cormier, Tony Bravo, Linda Cantu and Ben Dillon.
The wildly playful event — laced with lip sync, sequins, feathers and wigs — honored Ms. Mint Julep April Ayers, Miss Mint Julep Montrose Softball League Association, and Mr. Mint Julep Jim Sikorski.
Among the entertainers lighting up the stage were Angelina DM Trailz, Jacklin Dior, Viola DeGradable Debris, Mona Lott Gill, and Kaye Sedilla. Emcees doing their best to keep the show on schedule were Ginger Grant and Domenic Cusano.
