With the holidays on the horizon, Zadok Jewelers teamed up with Bulgari to dazzle their favorite customers with an eye-popping selection of must-have watches and jewels during an intimate cocktail party at The Dunlavy. The tree-shrouded enclave with its sparkling chandeliers made the presentation of the Bulgari high jewelry all the more glamorous.
Applause, applause for Helene and Dror Zadok for securing the highly-sought-after venue for the special evening. So special was it that the Zadok commissioned custom vitrines for the display of what would total millions in jewels. (And, yes, security was very tight.) The pieces presented were from Bulgari’s boutique collection of high-jewelry, which is available locally only at Zadok. While the pieces remained in the store for a limited engagement, Dror Zadok advised that any can return to Houston on request.
Among the dreamy pieces was the Lucea watch in diamonds with sapphire accents, as much a dazzling bracelet as timepiece. For the discerning gents, the world’s thinnest tourbillon – the Bulgari Finissimo Tourbillon Ultranero — priced at $99,000 was a draw. Items in the displays ranged from $3,000 to $500,000 — something for everyone with a certain discretionary income.
Welcoming guests and assisting with the holiday shopping were Amy and Segev Zadok and Michelle and Jonathan Zadok. (Their brother, Gilad, and his wife, Lisa, were at home with their newborn.)
Perusing the enticing collection were Mimi and Larry Levine, Diane Lokey Farb, Holly and Steve Radom, Don Sanders, Sandy Anderson, Jenny Rendon, Marcellous McZeal, Stephanie Elias, Pamela Madrid, Gloria Gou, and Jonathan Le.
P.S. If the lottery is in my future, so is the Lucea watch — a mere $122,000.
