Hot Cars, a Team of Models and a Raffle to Remember Make For One Fine Night: A Dallas Design District Happening

What: PaperCity and Park Place Volvo host a chic Design District Celebration
Where: 171 Oak Lawn in the Dallas Design District
PC Moment: When Park Place Volvo and PaperCity gathered hundreds of tony Dallasites to raise a glass to the smart, purposeful, and stylish new Volvo XC60, the scene at 171 Oak Lawn was an appropriate homage to everything fine design. The Dallas Design District scene was alive.
Live music played all evening. The Lovers Lane fashion hot-spot, Elements, dressed a pretty little team of models in the latest fall/winter fashions. Jack Black and Parfums Houbigant Paris raffled off luxurious grooming products for ladies and gents. And to keep party guests fueled, Lombardi’s served sophisticated canapés, including crab cakes with Espelette aioli, toasts topped with foie gras and onion marmalade, and tomato confit tartlets.
Ahead of the XC60’s grand debut, Donnie Lambrecht, general manager of Park Place Volvo, greeted the crowd. He was then joined by Jennifer Tobin, president of the Junior League of Dallas, who deemed the evening a worthy occasion to reveal the League’s much-anticipated 2018 raffle prizes — a Headington Companies hotel, dining, shopping, and spa experience; a ski escape to Telluride; and more.
A single flip through the MirMir, photo-booth snapshots the next day proved one thing: This was certainly a megawatt, mega-stylish night on the town.
