Snow Blows Through River Oaks, Puppies Frolic and the Beautiful People Swoon at This Unforgettable Store Opening
By Hannah Swiggard //
WHAT: Saint Bernard VIP Launch Party
WHERE: Saint Bernard in River Oaks District
WHO: COO Charlie Goyer and wife Ashleigh Goyer, his parents and Saint Bernard founders Ann and Wes Goyer, guests Charlotte Johnson, Ceron, brothers Blair Woodall and Blake Woodall, Bethany and Kelly Lynne, Carson and Arthur Seeligson, and River Oaks District’s Colin Moussa and Charlotte Johnson.
PC MOMENT: The snow was blowing as cars pulled up to the new Saint Bernard in River Oaks District. Alas, it wasn’t Aspen, but it made attendees muse on skis, snowboards, s’mores and the slopes. Winter will come, but on the evening, the 14,000-square-foot store was awash in sunny Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Lily Pulitzer, Palmer Millar, Canada Goose, Patagonia and other togs for hiking, biking and lounging at the beach. In a great touch, Saint Bernard pups rolled about the wooden floors as waiters passed cheddar biscuits stuffed with pulled pork from the kitchen of chef Bryan Caswell.
