Superstar Basketball Coaches Have a Timely Affair with Houston’s Top Jeweler
By Shelby Hodge //
What: 12th annual Swiss Watch Affair
Where: Zadok Jewelers
PC Moment: Zadok combined the glittering timepiece evening with a partnership with the Toyota Center Lone Star Shootout, the basketball doubleheader match up between the University of Texas, Texas A&M, the University of Arizona and the University of Arkansas. Thus, the watch party became a tip-off party as well.
Zadok Jewelers produced the awards for the winning teams and the MVP trophy. Special guests included UT basketball coach Shaka Smart and A&M coach Bill Kennedy who were on hand to discuss the upcoming games. Add to the event the glamour of limited edition timepieces, museum quality pieces and extended collections from more than 20 Swiss watch brands including IWC, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Jaeger LeCoultre.
Who: Helene and Dror Zadok, Laureen and Matthias Wong, Martin Fox, Christine Zhou, Terry and Bruce Merwin, Julio Flores and Teresa Aguilar, Allison Bagley, Meryl and Daniel Schrager, Geoff Gauthier, Hallie Antweil, and Jenny Slivensky.
