What: Direct Energy Toasts to Their Luci Light Launch

PC Moment: It was indeed a luminous fête as young professionals, philanthropists and execs gathered for a magical evening on the beautifully lit bar al fresco at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas. To kick off Direct Energy’s new Give Brighter program, party-goers sipped on jalapeño margaritas and enjoyed scrumptious nibbles, including mini-chicken tacos and corn dog bites. DJ Jennifer Miller spiced up the party with festive beats, but what really caught everybody’s attention were the Luci Lights peppered throughout the terrace.

These bright lights lining the entrance and dangling from trees were actually the centerpiece of the new Direct Energy program.

With their first corporate partnership with MPOWERD, Direct Energy was on the scene at the celebration, excited to announce a charitable idea that is sure to make a difference in many lives around the globe. For every customer that signs up for Direct Energy‘s fixed-rate energy plan, the company will send a solar-powered, inflatable Luci Light to a family or business in the developing world. In celebration of this brilliant idea, Dallasites raised a glass and kept the evening’s festivities going long after the sun had set.
