Fashionistas joined Trina Turk on Thursday at her new boutique in the Houston Galleria, where lively ladies sipped bubbly refreshments and swooned over Turk’s latest Winter Luxe collection of dashing prints and patterns fitting for the holiday season … Thursday, nearly 200 partygoers spent a memorable evening celebrating the first official birthday of Pier & Beam, Preservation Houston’s next-generation affinity group. Chair members Mary Hammon Lee, Dave Morris, Nick Senkel,and Claire Cormier Thielke hosted the #ThrowbackTursday themed bash in support of the ongoing efforts of Houston’s only citywide, historic preservation … Friday, Tootsies welcomed author, designer and spokesperson for animal rights Cornelia Guest for a fabulous affair in stores. The “yappy hour” benefitted “aniMeals on Wheels” and offered a look at her fall cruelty-free handbag collection and brand-new cookbook, Cornelia Guest: Simple Pleasures.
