What: Valentino’s Dallas Grand Opening
Where: The brand’s new Highland Park Village store
PC Moment: Valentino consistently makes our hearts flutter and, before we could fully recover after falling head over feels for its latest couture presentation, the fashion house had us swooning all over again at a fete to celebrate its new Highland Park Village address.
Brand ambassador Carlos Souza and his trio of formidable fashion hosts Nasiba Adilova, Tina Craig and Nancy Rogers welcomed the city’s most stylish for champagne and hors d’oeuvres while DJ Lucy Wrubel set an upbeat mood (and looked fabulously sparkly).
The architecturally unique boutique – designed to create a Palazzo atmosphere – is, unsurprisingly, a fashion lover’s dream, and a portion of the evening’s sales benefitted the Dallas Contemporary.
As guests worked their way past the rockstuds and toward the racks of embroidered tulle gowns, you could almost hear their hearts racing.
After the party, Souza hosted a private dinner for VIP guests at Le Bilboquet.
