Houston’s Most Stylish Young Professionals Are Throwing the Summer’s Best Party

Forget Aspen — Houston is the place to be mid-August so you won’t miss the 13th annual Women of Wardrobe Sizzle Summer Soireé. Stylish supporters of the Dress for Success young professionals group will convene at fashion Mecca Tootsies to enjoy libations and canapés from Abuso, Armandos, Compleat Cuisine, Green plate Foods, Nothing Bundt Cakes, SweetCup Gelato, and Yellow Rose Distilling while admiring looks from contemporary designer Jay Godfrey and baubles from San Antonio-based jewelry designer Claudia Lobao.

You’ll want to be fashionably on time for this event — the first 200 attendees get a complimentary blowout from Drybar and a free ride at celeb-fave spin spot SoulCycle. This is the night to replenish your fall wardrobe: A percentage of the evening’s sales benefit Dress for Success Houston, which empowers lower-income women to achieve economic success.
