One of our faves by Texas’ dynamic duo, The Art Guys, was just unveiled by Arts Brookfield for Allen Center (500 Dallas in downtown Houston). An international titan in the property field, Brookfield also loves the arts — hence, its innovative Arts Brookfield program for its diverse buildings around the globe. For this Houston endeavor, Arts Brookfield commissioned The Art Guys for “The Tunnel of Love,” a wild spectacle of an experience curated by Sally Reynolds that recalls madcap carnival attractions —especially the work evoked by its title.

As the Art Guys say in their press statement, in typical and very understated fashion, “‘The Tunnel of Love’ will fully and transformationally immerse the visitor into her or his totality of their own separate and distinct reality that will change their life forever. Nothing like ‘The Tunnel of Love’ has ever existed. ‘The Tunnel of Love’ encapsulates everything that everyone has ever experienced or will ever experience.” We couldn’t have said it better. (Through May 9.)
