From Mount Fuji to the Egyptian pyramids, there’s nothing quite like a view of the world seen through the eyes of an artist. And not just any artist, but a Pop Art icon – Andy Warhol. Christie’s auction house’s latest curated online sale pays tribute to Warhol and his storied world travels through works acquired from the Warhol Foundation in 2012. More than 125 prints and photographs ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 are on sale through Wednesday, February 18. And, let it be said that inspiration comes from all places — including our beloved city, which makes a cameo in the selection via a 1979 gelatin print titled Houston Skyline.
