Chalk Party!
This Bash Promises to Turn Us All Into Sidewalk Kids Again —
By Alexis Bierman //
Rewind to the days when chalking the neighborhood sidewalk was the go-to weekend activity: On Saturday, May 21, attendees of the first annual chalk art festival, Chalk The Park, are encouraged to channel their inner Picasso and transform the sidewalks of The Shops At Park Lane with their own works of art.
Stationed at the The Park from 10 am to 5 pm, the bash will provide those looking to play artiste for a day the chance to watch professional artists in action as they decorate the sidewalks with vibrant designs and uncanny murals. Chalk up some inspo from the pros and take a stab at the fun while listening to live tunes from DJ Jose G.
The kid-friendly fiesta will throw in complimentary face painting from 11 am to 2 pm. Don’t let your hard work go unseen: Show off your masterpieces to the world using #theparkatparklane.
