One Malibu-based winery has opened its first Texas tasting room. Saddlerock Wine and Beer Company opened in May of 2024 in a historic estate overlooking the Trinity River on Samuels Avenue in Fort Worth’s Uptown neighborhood. The wine-making Semler family has transformed the grounds into a lush sanctuary along with tasting rooms inside the main house and toward the back of the estate. Saddlerock’s complete line-up ranges from pinot blanc and grenache to Malbec, and its Bordeaux-style King of the Mountain blend.
