Movie Mania

The Oak Cliff Film Festival begins this Thursday, June 6 and ends on Sunday, June 9. Don’t miss out on the 28 movies playing at this year’s fest.

There will be 13 Texas premieres including the highly-anticipated film from Danny Boyle, Yesterday. The film follows a struggling singer-songwriter, Jack (Himesh Patel), in an English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie (Lily James). After a freak accident, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed and begins to perform the songs as his own.

Movies will show at the Texas Theatre, The Kessler, The Bishop Arts Theatre, Wild Detectives, El Sibil and Top Ten Records. You can buy a badge for the whole weekend or individual tickets here.
