Come January 29, you know where to find me.
Your “Dry January” might need to end early because The Knox, Auberge Collection hotel announced that it is now booking reservations for stays beginning January 29, and the champagne will be flowing. The most exciting hotel opening in memory, The Knox will serve as the epicenter of the vibrant redevelopment in Dallas’ most desirable address. The magical interiors were created by London designer Martin Brudnizki, and are like nothing we have seen in Dallas. Even before a single guest checks in, I can assure you that The Knox will be one of *the* places to be for locals and visitors.
In addition to providing direct access to the Katy Trail, The Knox centers guests in the middle of the hottest neighborhood in Dallas, with designer boutiques (DÔEN! Cult Gaia! STAUD! TOTEME!), buzzy restaurants like Sant Ambroeus, and a pulsing social scene.

With the release of these jaw-dropping renderings, let’s talk about the interiors. Global design darling Martin Brudnizki Design Studio designed The Knox, with Chad Dorsey Design spearheading the 48 private residences. The result? Design that feels worldly and cosmopolitan while simultaneously reflecting the charm and decadence of Dallas.
The interiors provide warmth and character, like the private residence of the most glamorous gal about town. The 140 stunning guest rooms and suites feel collected, with custom furnishings and spacious layouts designed for lingering (and cocktails). The Knox’s largest suite, appropriately named “The Manse,” offers a private fitness space, in addition to a wellness room, bar, media room, and spacious living and dining areas for hosting and entertaining. It’s what we do best in the Big D, after all!

An epicurean destination serving “a little spectacle with a lot of spirit,” according to the press release, The Knox offers a signature restaurant featuring Americana classics, an indoor/outdoor salon for European-style dining, a glamorous cocktail lounge with the mystique of a speakeasy, as well as poolside dining overlooking the Dallas skyline.
These signature dining experiences, alongside a world-class wellbeing destination and striking social spaces, perfectly position The Knox as the “gateway to the best of Dallas.” We wholeheartedly agree. The Knox just upped the ante, serving as the new benchmark for ultra-luxury hospitality in Texas and beyond.
“We are delighted to begin welcoming guests to The Knox, Auberge Collection and introduce a new expression of luxury hospitality to Dallas,” states Rick Fidel, Regional Vice President and General Manager of The Knox, Auberge Collection. “Inspired by the energy, character, and culture of the city, The Knox was designed to be more than a hotel. It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful wellbeing, inspired design, and extraordinary hospitality come together. We look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood’s fabric and community while creating unforgettable experiences for both visitors and locals.”
“The Knox marks an exciting new chapter in Auberge Collection’s growth as we bring our distinctive approach to hospitality to the world’s most dynamic cities,” notes Christian Clerc, President and CEO of Auberge Collection. “We are proud to welcome The Knox to our portfolio and introduce a vibrant destination that celebrates Dallas’s distinctive character while offering a deeply personal experience that is uniquely Auberge.”

Consider me an Auberge enthusiast. Whether I’m escaping to Santa Fe during the height of summer or seeking rejuvenation under the Mexican sun in Cabo, I know with absolute certainty that I’m going to luxuriate in superior surroundings (with incomparable hospitality) wherever the Auberge Collection name is attached.
The definition of a “bucket list” adventure, the brand introduced Auberge Safari, comprised of nine sensational properties spread across Tanzania’s most legendary wildlife destinations, earlier this year. Other recent additions include Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence, and The Woodward, Auberge Collection in the heart of Geneva. An upcoming Auberge Collection property that I’m adding to my manifestation board for 2027 is Cambridge House, Auberge Collection in London’s storied Mayfair.
