By Megan Forgey //
Dallas’ top bloggers work hard, trying out the multitude of the city’s newest and best restaurants, scouring for the best shops and attractions worth hitting, so their loyal readers can follow along for weeknight and weekend inspiration.
These women champion Dallas’ vibrant art scene, multidimensional dining culture and the best gas station tacos you’ll find in Texas.
We asked city bloggers what would be on their Dallas bucket list. Consider this the stylish insider’s guide to a metro area that’s always been about much more than just big hair and the Dallas Cowboys:
“The Grape is such a fantastic place to reserve brunch! Their food selections are amazing and delicious and when the weather is beautiful in Dallas during fall or spring, I highly recommend picking patio seating.”
— Vanessa Espinoza-Luna, Vanessa in Dallas

“My perfect weekend in Dallas would start with drinks at Happiest Hour downtown followed by dinner at Mi Cocina. On a Saturday afternoon I would get a massage at Grand Spa in Addison, a manicure and pedicure at Bellacures and lunch at Flower Child.
“A weekend in Dallas should always include shopping at NorthPark mall! Dinner at Sprezza for some amazing Italian food and grabbing dessert at the Dough Dough. Nothing says perfection like edible cookie dough. Sunday morning grabbing brunch at Up on Knox and taking a walk on the Katy trail to burn it off.”
— Neely Moldovan, It Starts With Coffee

“Highland Park Village and NorthPark Center for world-class shopping. We have the best of the best! Bird Bakery for coffee meetings and lunch-to-go — order the Californian Turkey, protein style. For the best spa treatments, head to The Joule Hotel spa. My tip: Get a Blissful Ritual + Biologique Signature Facial for glowing skin.
Where you will find me for lunch: Honor Bar
Best workout: Personal training with Kat Spangler
Matinee movie: Angelika Theater at Mockingbird Station
“The hubby and I can be often found at Montlake Cut for dinner. When we forget to make a reservation, we sit at the bar. Be sure to order the rum cake for dessert.
Hudson House for happy hour and raw bar.”
Weekend breakfast spots: Bubba’s of Kuby’s.

“My absolute ‘must-do’ or favorite thing to do in Dallas is go to Bishop Arts and walk around visiting the local shops and restaurants. Lucia is my absolute favorite place! One thing I want to do is a dinner with Frank Underground.”
