Dallas’ New Foodie Hotspot Takes Shape
Shake Shack Joined By Popular Canadian Restaurant
By Jenn D'Agostino //
A favorite Canadian eatery has made its U.S. debut. Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi recently opened Moxie’s Grill & Bar, a restaurant that already has dozens of locations scattered throughout Ottawa, Ontario, Toronto, Vancouver, and more.
The Dallas Moxie’s is nestled in The Crescent, just minutes away from the Stars’ home at American Airlines Center. (Having just welcomed Shake Shack and a second Ascension location, The Crescent is guaranteed to become a foodie hotspot with its new Canadian addition.)
Moxie’s serves international-inspired dishes for brunch, lunch, and dinner — every dish made with local ingredients — from executive chef Brandon Thordarson. Our suggestions for must-trys: the sushi cone with tempura shrimp, red Thai curry bowl, seared ginger tuna salad, and Korean fried cauliflower.

But this is Dallas — so we’re particularly partial to Moxie’s weekend brunch menu, featuring mouthwatering items like the pancetta and aged white cheddar benedict, and Sicilian sausage hash. The grill and bar also offers an extensive list of wine and craft cocktails.
Moxie’s Grill & Bar, 100 Crescent Court, Suite 140, 469.687.0050.
