Restaurant Update
* Ford Fry Taps Bobby Matos* to Lead State of Grace
By Jailyn Marcel //
Atlanta star chef and restaurateur Ford Fry has announced that Ciao Bello‘s Bobby Matos will fill the executive chef position at his upcoming River Oaks restaurant, State of Grace. News of Fry returning to his hometown of Houston for his eighth restaurant broke earlier this year, but who would actually run the State of Grace kitchen had been a mystery. As for Matos, he’s ready for the challenge.
“I am so stoked to be joining Ford’s group of restaurants,” Matos says. “Ford and I instantly hit it off, and I couldn’t be more excited to be on the ground floor, opening State of Grace. After visiting the Atlanta restaurants and seeing their own brand of hospitality and success, it was an easy decision to jump on board.”
We’ll be on the lookout for the next player drafted to State of Grace’s culinary team. The restaurant is scheduled to open this fall.
