Vegan Mania Hits Snap Kitchen
Innovative New Menu Takes the Meat Out of Meatballs
By Jenn D'Agostino //
Snap Kitchen is getting innovative with its newest menu, a healthy roundup of six vegan dishes arriving at the grab-and-go restaurants on Sunday, October 9.
The new menu items are tasty vegan takes on everyone’s favorite home-cooked meals — think veggie pot pie, meatless meatballs, and sweet potato black bean sliders.
There’s also an apple oat crisp dessert (gluten-free oats, Granny Smith apples, cranberries, raisins, and pistachios in a cashew anglaise), spicy dan dan noodles (brown rice noodles, ground shitake mushrooms, red bell peppers, napa cabbage, carrots, and chili oil), and Creole fab cakes (Snap’s take on crab cakes: organic hearts of palm, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, almond flour, and Sir Kensington’s Fabanaise in a creole mustard sauce with broccolini and red peppers).
