40 Million Dollars of the World’s Most Exotic Cars Take Over a Houston Billionaire’s Posh Hotel

Creating a Collector's Dinner Like No Other With the Hyper Car Queen

By //

It was a breathtaking spectacle — more than $40 million worth of the world’s hottest cars flanking a dinner table set for 60 in the porte cochère of Houston’s posh Post Oak Hotel ballroom. The occasion — the inaugural Collectors Dinner — was an invitation-only affair hosted by Post Oak Motor Cars in partnership with The Exotics Network.

Centered on automotive culture, hospitality and community, the extraordinary event began with a reception in the Bentley Houston and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Houston showrooms, where lucky attendees were offered driving opportunities in a selection of new vehicles from Post Oak Motor Cars.

The upper tier VIPs among this clutch of VIPs were invited to the hotel’s helipad for an unparalleled view of the Houston skyline and the Post Oak property, all of which is in the hands of billionaire Ambassador Tilman Fertitta’s family. Escorting these special guests were Blake Fertitta, vice president of Fertitta Automotive Group, and Diane Caplan, head of marketing & brand management for Fertitta Automotive Group.

In a special touch, the duo arranged for a helicopter fly by.

As these car collectors were seated for the three-course dinner, the backdrop was a mouth-dropping display of their cars, a priceless automotive menagerie that included two Bugatti Chirons, a Ferrari F50, two Ferrari F40s, a Porsche 918 Spyder, two Paganis, a McLaren Sabre, Ferrari Monza SP2 and McLaren Senna.

The incredible gathering was the latest collaboration between Post Oak Motor Cars and The Exotics Network, an Austin-based automotive community founded by Anand Clemens and Adonis Ordaniz. Post Oak Motor Cars has partnered with the organization for more than two years, participating in supercar events and rallies across the country while building relationships with collectors and enthusiasts on behalf of the Houston retailer.

The organization’s fourth-annual Road to the Race will once again serve as Austin’s official prelude to the United States Grand Prix, featuring a world class automotive showcase collaboration with Circuit of the Americas.

Diane Caplan is a regular on the exotic cars scene. In 2024 Playboy magazine anointed her the Hyper Car Queen. Hyper cars being those costing in the millions. Supercars can be secured for $300,000 to $400,000 for starters.
