What
Galleria Dallas has a strong commitment to supporting the arts and arts education in North Texas, and in August, it will partner with Broadway Dallas to share the impact of live musical theater as it asks North Texans to help “Give A Kid A Seat,” through a vivid display at the center. The colorful Gallery Wall will share the history of Broadway Dallas’ Give A Kid A Seat program and will invite donors to share the joy of live theater via a QR code that supports a donation platform.
The installation, located on the Gallery Wall on Level 1 across from Sephora, will be supported by a full month of activities celebrating Broadway Dallas. Events at the Gallery Wall include:
• Performances from Broadway Dallas’ High School Musical Theatre Awards students on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11:30 a.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. in front of the wall.
• A teaching artists workshop centered around the upcoming production of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. in front of the wall.
