Da Camera of Houston is excited to kick off its 2019-20 season with a fun and entertaining performance of Bon Appetit!, a concert dedicated to legendary chef Julia Child and her 1970s television show. Soprano Abigail Fischer will take on the role as Child in this one-act, one-woman opera composed by Lee Hoiby.
The opening night concert will also feature Imani Winds performing Maurice Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin, and vocalist Ryan McKinny in his Da Camera debut performing Francis Poulenc’s Le bal masqué.
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 12.
