Join us for an event sixteen years in the making: the opening of the time capsule hidden in The Statue of Four Lies by The Art Guys. On Friday, the day before the time capsule is opened, visitors are invited to attend a panel discussion exploring the history, meaning, and enduring relevance of The Statue of Four Lies, along with the broader artistic practice of The Art Guys. Saturday’s festivities will include live tunes, cupcakes, a petting zoo, and unexpected surprises as we reveal what was sealed in the artwork at the time of its dedication in 2010.
