Opera Arlington presents Mozart’s classic The Magic Flute as you’ve never seen it before: transported to the land of Oz, where a yellow-brick road leads into a technicolor realm of witches, wizards, and magic beyond the edge of the known world. As Mozart’s beloved characters venture beyond the familiar, their journey carries them from the shadowy forests of Oz to the glittering gates of the Emerald City, where appearances can be deceiving, and courage is the greatest magic of all. Don your ruby slippers… we’re off to see the wizard!
