PaperCity’s style contributor Nasiba Adilova has had quite the year — traveling the globe for fashion weeks, co-hosting Mario Testino at the Dallas Contemporary, chairing the First Look fete for TWO X TWO, and attending other fashionable and charitable events. Now the stylish new mama is sharing a few gifts she has her eye on this Christmas.
What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
I absolutely love the holiday season. The smell of Christmas trees and cinnamon, the music, the decorations, the cheer and even the holiday frenzy! I actually am one of those people who enjoys the holiday rush. Rather than buying gifts months in advance, I prefer doing my shopping right before the holidays. I find it uplifting to go to stores when all the beautiful decorations are up with Michael Bublé’s Christmas album playing on the radio.
What is the quirkiest/most unique gift someone has given you?
The best gift I ever got was from my husband, a neon art piece that he gave me for Valentine’s Day.

What are your favorite holiday traditions?
Since we are still newly married, we are creating our own Christmas traditions: dinner with family, special books we read as a family to our baby boy and watching Christmas movies on Christmas Day.
