A Beloved National Chain’s Set to Open a New Houston Store
Island Life Awaits
By Jailyn Marcel //
Your next trip to paradise may be closer than you think. Houston’s bustling Highland Village is preparing for some island life with the opening of Tommy Bahama on Friday, March 4. The boutique, which weighs in at 3,724 square feet, marks the second area outpost for the Seattle-based resort-wear brand (the first sits in the Houston Galleria).
Keeping with the company’s island vibes, the new location transports patrons to a modern beach house (think walls of teak and light oak, vaulted ceilings and a relaxing color palette), which will house the brand’s complete men’s, women’s, sportswear, swimwear, footwear and accessories lines.
But Tommy Bahama Highland Village isn’t relying solely on its seaside ambience to give customers a relaxing experience: the Highland Village boutique will greet guests in a sprawling lounge area with complimentary wine, plus the expertise of personal shoppers. The new store also promises an expanded home accessories collection.
Tommy Bahama operates 160 retail and restaurant locations worldwide.
