Now Open
Benefit Cosmetics opened its first Texas boutique Thursday, April 9, in The Plaza at Preston Center. The shop stocks the brand’s coveted products such as Gimme Brow and offers lash- and brow-tinting services, body and facial waxing, airbrushing and more … Tangerine Salon has opened in the up-and-coming Preston Hollow Village shopping center. The two-story salon offers hair services featuring the entire line of Aveda products.

Coming Soon
Highland Park Village is singing the blues with the opening of the first Bluemercury in Texas Saturday, May 30. Marla Beck’s sensational skincare and beauty boutique and spa stocks hundreds of beauty brands you know and love, plus hundreds more you may not have heard of yet — but soon will. The Bluemercury Spa is famed for its oxygen facials, glycolic peels, waxing and microdermabrasion … Next blue news in HPV is Royal Blue Grocery, an urban market slated to open this summer in the former Tom Thumb space. The Austin-based grocer tailors each store to the neighborhood, so we’re expecting Range Rover chips and best-dressed salads. Barring that, the new corner store offers conventional food items as well as fresh take-out and catering.

Meet and Greet
Forty Five Ten hosts hot designer Rosie Assoulin for a Fall 2015 trunk show Friday, April 24, 1 to 4 pm, and jewelry designer Yves Spinelli of Spinelli Kilcollin Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25 … Shoe designer Gianvito Rossi, son of Sergio Rossi, makes a personal appearance at Stanley Korshak Tuesday, April 28.

Shop the collection at Elaine Turner boutiques at Shops at Legacy and Southlake Town Square.

Dallas-based Hari Mari celebrates three years of flipping flip-flops and has just landed its 400th retailer. In Dallas, shop the home-grown slides at Stag, Whole Earth Provision Co., Tyler’s and St. Bernard Sports. It seems Texans aren’t the only fans of the flops: The Bachelor star Chris Soules has been snapped wearing a pair.
