A British Star’s Pop-Up Gives this Dallas Shopping Center an Aura
The Museum in the Mall Astounds
By Linden Wilson Jobe //
Stanley Marcus’ goal of making art accessible to the public continues with the arrival of British fashion designer Stella McCartney‘s pop-up exhibit The Stella Museum of Art at Neiman Marcus NorthPark Center this week.
Amidst the flurry of artful soirées taking place during April, the pop-up is flawlessly timed. Open Wednesday through Sunday, April 13 through 17, it will showcase large-scale photographs by Emanuele D’Angelo, David Prutting and John Salangsang taken at McCartney’s pre-fall 2016 presentation at Amoeba Music in Hollywood in January.
Signs and neons on display at Amoeba will also be on hand at NorthPark, while McCartney’s merchandise will be available for purchase at the adjacent Stella Shop.
Click here for our Q&A with McCartney, who arrives in Dallas for a private event co-hosted by PaperCity on Tuesday, April 12.
