This Young Texas Power Couple Pulls Off the Ultimate Colorado Lake Wedding
Straight from a Wes Anderson Movie?

If Wes Anderson had directed the Grand Lake, Colorado, wedding of Dallas couple Arden McKenzie Elliott and Brock Andrew Hensarling, we wouldn’t be surprised.
As guests arrived to the small, lakeside town outside Boulder, they were greeted with a camp-like canvas tote of accessories, including a hand drawn map of the lake and a to-do list of nostalgic activities — from boating to sharing ice cream sundaes to playing games at an old-school arcade.
Nautical charm spilled into the wedding day: The dusk lakeside ceremony at a private residence concluded with the couple departing for the reception in a boat, captained by family friends.
Crossed oars marked the spot for dinner at the venerable Grand Lake Yacht Club, and attendees were directed to their seats by way of a compass-turned-place card.
Floral design by Bows & Arrows kept the mountainous surroundings in mind — a canopy of greenery hung over the dinner tables, which were set with blue-and-white china and copper flatware, and simple, beautiful arrangements.
It was a scene that would give Moonrise Kingdom a run for its money.
