A Jewel Box of a New NorthPark Store Attracts a VIP Crowd
The King of the Cable Bracelet Has a New Castle
By Linden Wilson Jobe //
Double the size of its original NorthPark boutique, David Yurman‘s new shop inside the mall is a jewel box in and of itself, featuring fabrics in striking gemstone hues and a white-gold leaf decorative panel with a hand-applied bluebonnet pattern in homage to Texas.
Before attending the MTV Re:Define gala, the king of the cable bracelet fêted his new Dallas store with a VIP opening party, where guests shopped the designer’s collections and caught a glimpse of the exquisite interior.

Also on hand to celebrate were David’s artist wife, Sybil Yurman, who helped design the store, and the couple’s son, Evan Yurman, the brand’s chief creative officer who oversees the men’s collections.
“What’s important to us as a family is to continue making pieces that are true to our origins — my father’s as a sculptor and my mother’s as a painter,” Evan says. “We’re known as an All-American ‘casual luxury’ jewelry brand, and that’s what we will continue to put forth in the future.”
