Glamorous Bag Ladies

Step aside super-sized handbag; ladies, it’s time to put your Birkins and Celine totes back in their duster bags to make some room for the lady bag, a fashion item that is having a moment right now.

Handheld bags and clutches were once an accessory of the night, reserved mostly for evening soirées and occasionally seeing the light of day on the arm of the lady who lunches. Now, ladylike bags are very “in fashion”, making their way into the office, boardroom and back on the streets in the full-blown sunshine.

True fashion fiends are looking for newer, more obscure handbag designers offering up unique pieces that are less in your face than the identifiable, ubiquitous totes popularized by certain brands.
