The Hot Shoes of the Moment are Actually Comfortable
18 Pairs Your Closet Covets

Espadrilles are the hottest thing for the hot days to come. The durability and comfort of these shoes have made it to the streets of New York, the markets in Milano and the restaurants of Houston and Dallas.
Espadrilles are perfect for that beach vacation that has been screaming your name. These shoes are made for walking. But they’re not all made equal. Let’s take a look at some of our favorites.
— These embellished platform espadrilles are Gucci at its most adventurous. Adding an extra two inches of height give these shoes a retro vibe with a seaside flair. And who doesn’t appreciate pearl embellishments? Pair them with a linen off-the-shoulder top tucked in navy blue culottes and a mini sized backpack for a fun, trendy look.
— Placing its trademarked studs on a new style, Valentino’s Garavani Rocketed espadrilles are edgy and trendsetting. The studs give off a tomboy, slightly grunge vibe, while the D’orsay style tones neutralizes any heavy feel. The white stitching wrapped around the shoes complete the “pirate vibes.” Rock the look with a linen oversized off-white tunic, light-washed distressed jeans with distressed hemming, Balenziaga’s City Bag and oversized black aviators.
— For more polished, remixed espadrilles, Alexander Wang’s sandals are the It shoes. The smooth black leather that extends to the bottom of the soles and the cut out on top of the heel will have people staring. Complete the look with a silk tank, high-waisted black denim skinnies with a frayed hem — and top it off with an embellished clutch.
