Stepping into Zsofia’s Fine Lingerie boutique is much like entering the boudoir of a ’60s screen siren. A plush pink sofa beckons in the entryway, and leopard-print carpet leads to a spacious, private dressing-room area with an elegant white vanity, fresh flowers and stacked coffee-table books. Tucked away in the Dallas Design District, Zsofia Mezey’s 1,800-square-foot gem stocks luxurious lingerie brands from Europe and the States, many of which are Dallas exclusives: Cheek Frills, Fleur of England, eyelet, lace and silk creations from Salua, and Addiction pajamas and robes. “The lingerie is really beautiful and feminine, and you can feel comfortable wearing the pieces lounging around the house,” she says. A longtime fashion designer and stylist originally hailing from Romania (you’ll be mesmerized by her accent), Mezey has created a shopping sanctuary where a group of girlfriends or bridal parties can pop a bottle of bubbly and try on intimates during a private party while a projector above the pink couch plays Breakfast at Tiffany’s or Some Like it Hot. Passionate about giving back, Mezey plans to raise awareness for women’s causes both through in-store donations and future charity fund-raisers. 1130 Dragon St., 214.770.7696.
