Kate Hudson Makes a Big Texas Move
Actress is Latest Celeb to Embrace Dallas Area Retail Scene

Dallas has a long history of drawing hot A-listers to town: Gwyneth Paltrow brought her Goop pop-up to Highland Park Village, and Reese Witherspoon recently followed suit with the opening of her second Draper James boutique.
Now, actress and indie darling Kate Hudson is opening the first Texas location of her Fabletics brand, at the burgeoning Legacy West development in Plano.
Known for its trendy activewear featuring colorful prints, Fabletics, which began exclusively online, joins a long list of stores that are moving into the mixed-use compound, including Warby Parker, Tesla, and Suitsupply.
The athleisure label has been expanding throughout the U.S., including California, Hawaii, Illinois, and Florida; rumor has it there are many more to come.
The new Texas location spans more than 2,000 square feet and features a contemporary design, along with perks like in-store fitting appointments and a virtual shopping cart (being able to purchase what you liked in-store, online).
Fabletics will celebrate its grand opening Friday to Sunday, May 12 to 14, with music, treats, an AcroYoga demonstration, and photo booth, plus 20 percent off everything in the store.
Legacy West, 5905 Legacy Dr., Plano.
