Texas’ Most Luxurious Auto Show Brings Out the Super Cars
and a Fancy New Police Cruiser:

Buckle up: The NorthPark Auto Show is back for its second year, kicking off Tuesday, August 1 and running for the entire month at the famed Dallas shopping center.
The turbocharged event lets shoppers check out premiere 2017 and 2018 models from more than 40 luxury vehicles, including Aston Martin, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, and Tesla. (Click through the slideshow above to view last year’s sleek models.)
You can also get an up-close look at a Dallas Police Department cruiser on Level One in Dillard’s Court. While there, toss a coin into the Dillard’s fountain — throughout August, all coins will be donated to the Assist the Officer Foundation, which financially supports officers in need.
Other NorthPark Center events to pencil in your datebook this month: Save tax on most clothing, footwear, and backpacks under $100 during tax-free weekend Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13, with extended hours.
On Saturday, August 12, NorthPark hosts its annual free Art Rocks children’s program. This year, the spotlight is on Frida Kahlo as kids tackle DIY art projects, a Bookmarks scavenger hunt, cookie decorating, and more.
