Dallas Meets Los Angeles in a Chic New NorthPark Store

Local Influencer Draws a Power Shopping Crowd

By //

To host the opening of its first Dallas boutique at NorthPark Center, So Cal-inspired ready-to-wear label Paige tapped adorable Dallas native Lauren Scruggs Kennedy.

Unsurprisingly, the fashion and wellness influencer — who now splits her time between Texas and Los Angeles, where her husband Jason Kennedy co-hosts E! News — drew a chic crowd of shoppers eyeing Paige’s Fall 2018 collection of denim, cozy knits, woven pieces, outerwear, leather and accessories.

Paige Dallas is also one of the first to carry the brand’s debut shoe collection, which launched late last month.

Among the immediate footwear favorites were the white leather “Kate” ankle boot with cool asymmetrical detail ($360) and black leather “Emi” bootie with a funky heel ($295).

Paige co-founder and creative director Paige Adams-Geller designed the 1,500-square-foot space with close friend and interior designer Kristine Kamenstein, incorporating custom lighting, hand-painted linen curtains, and wood shelving and metal fixtures made in L.A.

Staying true to Paige’s luxe California aesthetic, Adams-Geller’s own photos she took on hikes in the Golden State hang on the walls.

“I would describe this store’s design as Dallas meets Los Angeles,” she said in a statement, “because it really embraces the vibe of both cities.”

In true Dallas philanthropic fashion, 20 percent of proceeds from the opening event benefitted Genesis Women’s Shelter. Paige operates 10 additional shops, in L.A., Malibu, San Francisco, Austin, and New York City.
