By Anne Lee Phillips //
We know some of you missed the spring Round Top antique shows, yet again. Thankfully, the ladies behind DASH (Design Art Style Home) bring their vendors’ antique finds and stylish home goods to Houston’s inner loop twice a year. The show features a wide variety of wares, from French antiques, American mid-century pieces, Indian textiles, and art from Texas artists via more than 80 sellers like Laurier Blanc, Mela & Roam, ReworksHome, Susan Horne Antiques, and The Troy Osbourne.
From 6 to 9 pm Thursday, the opening preview shopping event kicks off the weekend with music, cocktails by Tito’s Vodka and Manuscript Cellars and bites from Island Grill, and features four bloggers who will showcase coffee table styling trends.
Preview party admission is $25, good for all remaining days, and benefits Citizens for Animal Protection. On Sunday, DASH celebrates Mother’s Day with mimosas, brunch options and live music. Weekend hours are Friday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, with $10 admission good for all three days.
