Dutch furniture company Eichholtz — a popular exhibitor at Maison et Objet in Paris and Milan — is finally available stateside, distributed by Oroa, a new retail store in River Oaks District. Oroa boutique co-owner and Netherlands-born Gaby Kloekke frequently used Eichholtz in interior design projects in her native country.
She partnered with French project developer Roman Rotges to bring the brand to the U.S., first in Coral Gables in Miami, followed by Houston.
Eichholtz is known for a glamorous European aesthetic, from metallic sputnik chandeliers to velvet sofas, rugs, mirrors, and accessories, as well as an impressive outdoor collection of sun chaises, loungers, daybeds and cabanas.
